Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management
A multidisciplinary curriculum, the Post-Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management exposes participants to a range of disciplines that are suited for the development of planning with a focus on the planning and management of development projects and programmes.
The program’s objectives are to prepare participants for project planning and management at the urban, rural, and regional levels; to develop professionals with a solid theoretical and practical foundation in project planning, monitoring, and evaluation at various spatial scales; and to give students research skills for project planning and management.
It is acknowledged as the most suitable type of management for the current generation of managers who are required to manage multidisciplinary projects in a quickly evolving corporate environment. More and more people are using its advantages to enhance management effectiveness in areas that weren’t previously considered to be project-driven. Many countries, businesses, and people are turning to project management for guaranteed results on time, within the budget, and in accordance with quality criteria in order to deal with the always shifting business conditions.
Surprisingly, project managers and project management scholars have ignored the importance of planning and managing projects successfully, which is expected to support and maintain project/program success. The successful design and implementation of proven systems in any particular project or programme is essential to its long-term viability. The project’s planning and management quality will determine this.
